PARKING

Parking at the Sonesta Denver Downtown is available for PMM guests at a discounted rate.  The cost for parking is $10 for overnight guests.

The Denver International Airport is approximately 28 miles and estimated 40-minute drive from the Sonesta Denver Hotel.  For Google Map directions from the airport to the hotel click here.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FROM DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

There are several transportation options available to and from the Denver International Airport including taxis, Ride-App Services (Lyft and Uber), Commuter Shuttle Services, and the Denver Commuter Train.

 

Ride-App Services

Lyft and Uber offer pickup and drop-off transportation services to and from Denver International Airport. Estimated fare using one of the app-based ride services is approximately $35-$45 one way.

Pickup Location for Ride App passengers should follow signs for ground transportation then exit the terminal on Level 5 near baggage claim and proceed to Island 5 to meet your driver. 

 

Helpful Tips

  • Wait to request your ride until after you’ve claimed your luggage at baggage claim or have arrived on Level 5.

  • Please use the designated crosswalks to access Island 5 and be aware of vehicle traffic in the area.

  • Ride app drivers are not allowed to solicit customers and payment is made in the mobile app.

  • Rides may only be requested through the mobile apps.

  • Before you get into a ride app vehicle, make sure  the license plate, car make and model, and driver name match what is in the app.

Taxi Service

There are metered and flat rate taxi services readily available at the Denver International Airport servicing the Denver metro area. Taxi services range from approximately $65 to $80 one way. For more information and a list of taxi services click here.

Taxicabs pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal, Level 5, Island 1, outside Doors 505, 507 and 511 (Terminal East), and Doors 506, 510 and 512 (Terminal West).

Commuter Shuttle Services (Shared Ride Services) 

There are several shared-ride services available from Denver International Airport to areas within the Denver metro area.  To arrange transportation services from the shuttle service of your choice, visit the list of shuttle providers here.  Share-ride services from the airport to the Sonesta Denver Downtown Hotel start at approximately $75 per person one way.  

 

Shared-ride service shuttles pick-up and drop-off areas are located from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 5, outside doors 505-507 (east side) and 510-512 (west side) in the airport.

Denver Commuter Train

The A Line commuter train, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), offers transportation between Denver International Airport and downtown Denver. The closest station to the hotel is Denver Union Station. Union Station is approximately a 20-minute walk to the hotel. Trains run every 15 minutes during peak travel times, and every 30 minutes from 3 am – 5 am and 6:30 pm – 1 am. (For exact departure and arrival times, please consult the schedule on the RTD website).

 

The airport fare is $10.50 per day from any of the stations along the A Line and includes unlimited rides on the A Line during a single business day. There is the Free MallRide commuter bus that runs between Union Station and the 16th Street Mall, which is two blocks from the hotel. The Free MallRide commuter bus runs approximately every light cycle during the hours of 6 am – 9 am and 4 pm – 6 pm, and then every 3 to 15 minutes all other times.  For more information on the Free MallRide visit Free MallRide | RTD - Denver
