Dr. Michael I. Mischenko

The APOLO-2022 conference is dedicated to the life and legacy
of Michael I. Mischenko, who passed away in 2020.
 
We intend to have a special session devoted to his legacy and seek
presentations that can contribute to this session. Michael maintained
a research page describing his considerable contributions, and was
also memorialized in the 19th Electromagnetic and Light Scattering
Conference in 2021. He gave an autobiographical seminar in 2015
describing a portion of his research, which nicely encapsulates his perspective.
 
Michael was a cornerstone of the APOLO community, and he will be sorely missed.
