Zhenwei Qiu

Professor Qiu received a bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. degree in optics from the Anhui Institute of Optics and Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. And he is mainly focusing on hyperspectral and polarization remote sensing instruments researches. As the deputy chief designer, he is responsible for the design of the GF-5 satellite atmospheric detection polarization load and the GFDM satellite atmospheric correction polarization load SMAC. What’s more, he is also the technical director of the key project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences "Key Technologies of Spaceborne Atmospheric Synchronization Correction", and participated in the National Key Natural Science Foundation project "Quantitative Evaluation of Observation Accuracy of Aerosol Radiation Characteristics and Research on New Observation Methods".
