Itaru Sano
Kindai University, Higashi-Osaka, Japan
Itaru Sano works as a professor at Kindai University. He started aerosol remote sensing with CZCS measurements on Nimbus-7 in his graduation thesis at Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT). He
received a doctorate in engineering from KIT (1997). He is interested in aerosol remote sensing and light scattering behavior of atmospheric particles in polarization field. He also conducted AERONET DRAGON intensive field campaigns, DRAGON Japan in 2012, and DRAGON J-ALPS in 2020, and 2021.
